I got a big advantage in the middlegame, but I lost like a moron in the endgame.
learnateverygame
@ gugu : you are definitely winning that middlegame, RIGHT until the sac the Q and all of your big pieces and ending in endgame you still win.
but thats chess, you cant predict, when the opponent will fight back, and when they do, they put up a lot of fight. Because I've been in same position but as white lol.

I loved your annotations! Basically what runs through my head during my games too (Ka-chow! Preparing for blood bath. Blood bath averted, etc etc haha)
sometimes getting as far into the game as you can actually helps as long as you dont start bawling because he took your "brother" or your pawn not that i know from experience or anything....

I think you could have played a different variation from move 15, beginning with 15...Bxd3:
The idea is to get a passed d pawn, exchange White's active rook and open the b8-h2 diagonal. Then you can base your strategy on your passed d pawn, e file control, center control, and on White's weak king position. You should have been able to bring your rooks at the center before White would have developed, then you should have had an easy game.
Anyway, at move 15 you already had a better position than White, and the variation you played in the game was also good. You should have won
I'm having a good day today xp
This position just occured in a game of mine. Can you spot the winning move?

I agree, could've been a draw, black would have been able to get in the corner

Lol, we all have to play The Kings Gambit at some stage or we simply aren't real chess players!
