Chargrined is me... HELP: I lost again to this guy last night, ... as white again! D'oH!!
I will post that too, btw!! I will try and first add a little more insight as this one here was very sparse but I wasn't sure what to write as I waffled on in the last few! All good I s'pose... I thought keep it simple as I probably only made some big errors here and there so there you go!

He challenged me again, this time,Im playing White
learnateverygame
Learnateverygame, in your last posted game, 19. Nxe7 seems to get met by a rude shock with 19...f5! Your Nd4 can't really move without losing an exchange and correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't see an outright knockout for you with your e4 pawn clogging the e file.
20. Nexf5 seems good enough.
well I think your move is good enough, but I think with Nxc6 bxc6 and white is ok, he wins a pawn and the position ready to be opened up. Nexf5 is ok too, threat the bishop and guards the knight on d4 as well.
A game I played last night, a 3 min game against a GM, first time playing though since I play NM samurai in bullet.
I had good learning exp, as after the game he invited me to the analysis board, and tell me about his position and some following variations in the game.
Thanks GM :)
Lucifer99
I really want to know what GM that was! It excites me that the line I've found through practice and independent study (ie. just using my brain and anyalyzing positions) is the same one this GM used :D even so far as move 10 or further!
@lucifer99 : you'll know that easily. See the description I put in the post. I chose not to put the names out, I only put it out if they want to :)
That is a line I usually play as black, but I rarely play b3 as white, to fianchetto my dark bishop, as I usually kept it in the c1-h6 diagonal, but sometimes I put it in the a1-h8 diagonal

I wouldn't castle long with all these black pieces aiming on the queenside.Nice QUICK attak.
@raider : nice attack !
I was just wondering what is the opponent thinking anyway.. This must be an online game with 1 or 2 day / move, why so fast think ?
I continue posting my games of the local tournament that I'm taking part these days. The first one is already posted in #811 of this thread.I''ll skip the second one since there's no much to talk about it.It was a win against an unrated young guy (I'm still unrated too).I pinned his queen early and things were easy for me after that.
My third game was a painful loss, since I lost a big chance to score something against a stronger fide rated opponent due to a terrible blunder.Though I managed to create a strong attack and put him in serious time trouble,I finally blew it.

Shoopi and learnateverygame, I'm not saying that 19...f5 totally saves Black, but it has the potential to throw White off balance. Now instead of being all cramped up with nothing to do, you've suddenly got to worry about Black's bishop and his rook which can swing to g8. What matters isn't that your better. What matters is how badly he wants to fight.

When uncertainty meets uncertainty. I found his username amusing...I guess my brick just reached his window first.
BrickAttackWins, lol: why couldn't I think of something like that! of course theweaponking is better, but still!!
I think people are misunderstanding the term "amateurs". Most of the people posting their games here are beginners who need basic instruction/lessions and shouldn't be playing LIve Chess because it isn't going to help them.

YES, I AM DRUNK!! CAN SOMONE DELETE POSTS 'ROUND HERE?
ok, its been a while, so I posted another 3 min game.
my opponent played bird opening, which is a special one for me, as I remembered in high school I played against my chemistry teacher, and he used 1.f4 and e4 as white. He is the best chess player in the school because he used to win city championships when he was still young in his town.
another game I played, and my opponent have quite a scary name, as the name is my favourite chess player lol

Hey. Well, I'm not sure if I count as an 'amateur', but I'm hardly a 'pro', so inhabiting that middle-ground. In any case, I've started playing some OTB chess again and learning some new openings as well.
I've been annotating my games in my blog:
http://blog.chess.com/the_cheradenine
so you can have a look at them if you're interested. I've previously posted some very nice wins, but now I'm focusing precisely on imperfect games with mutual errors (and also - not the critical theoretical lines)

I've just started, so there isn't much material (yet), but I am constantly adding new stuff, sooo... enjoy :)
I'd welcome some feedback both on the opening and overall play

learnateverygame.... lovely move to pin his rooks!!!
spinfidelety
This is my 2nd try - 1st time I got timed out and lost all my comments :-/
He's slightly higher rated than me although I thought I had the game at one point. Towards the end I ran out of time (from 10min game) because I couldn't close a mate around him - any help appreciated.
Looking through analysis you always spot things you could have done better so I'll mention what I notice after and please chip in with any cents you may have spare :-)
