What a Stupid Game

I lost my mind and got completely blown away.

Hmm... instead of dismissing this as a stupid game I would look deeper at your loss. Either you didn't notice you were putting your king and queen on the same diagonal, or you didn't realize that was dangerous and look for a tactic, or you didn't spot the tactic. In any case there's a flaw in your play to work on. This loss doesn't look particularly foolish for your level... quite typical actually.

 

For example, you made a similar error in your game against chessy37343 with 12.Bb3. Black could have immediately tied up the game with 12...Bxg5, but they overlooked that tactic. matzleach is a bit stronger and less likely to overlook such.

You opened the center when your king was still in the center and your opponent had castled and played Re1. That is suicide. 8. ... f6 continued the same theme. Of course, by move 16 it's curtains.

man what can i say...the guys opening was weak...he conquered the center tough...then your disicion to line up king and queen in the same diagonal was just too bad.
