Tonight I played a club tornament game and my opponent played e4. I had studied the Ruy Lopez and hoped he would play that, but instead, the game went as follows.
this might help, i played these exact moves in a 5 min blitz game
6...Qe7 is the right move at that point, but you would have better avoided that losing line entirely by playing 4...d5.
move 7...Qc5 is key move
and its not losing, if you know your lines well its winning
why sacrifice if you have no idea what youre doing????????????
hehe...I'm a risky player.
thats not risky, its stupid
you didnt play it right, you could have lost but got lucky
yea, I know...I got really lucky, I looked deeper into this last night and especially after 7...Nxe4 , 8. Qh5 I'm in deep trouble.
as i said.. move 7...Qc5 is key move
27. Ne5+ wins your queen.
Oh how i'm refraining from flaming henry oliver i do not know.
ok notice said "blitz", do you know what that is? ok im not perfect i did make that mistake but thats not the point of the topic
just tryin to help, you dont have to get so defensive.
hehe...
