DeadDeadly
This is a position from one of my tournament games. I was playing black. I couldn't think of any good moves so I ended up playing Rxh5, he traded rooks and it was a draw.
i was just wondering if there were any better moves i should have played that might have given me a win. Any ideas?
Thanks.

Most K+R+B vs. K+R endings give good practical chances of winning, but some are draws with perfect play. I would say this has to be a forced win because after Rh2+ you already have the king pinned against the edge and are ready to set up a mating net.White's pawn becomes irrelevant because he will have to react to mating threats. Perhaps if the pawn could promote in one move it would be a different story.

Yes, according to Nalimov Rh2+ does indeed win! Punch the position in yourself and find out how:
