thats my question. i tried a pawnsacrifice early that probably wasnt sound tho.
The pawn sac in the opening is perfectly sound- factly, it's the safest and best way for black to treat the Jaenisch.
After 14.0-0-0 the simple 14...Be7 (or Bd8) wins back the pawn with a dead drawn position.
The whole line is fine for black, provided that he does know how to handle the bishop pair, and his technical skills are adequate.
you are right i win the pawn back. i saw that Bxf3 made his kingside look bad and stopped looking so lazy calculation on my part
