Isn't it obvious where you went wrong? 28...Bd4 essentially hangs a piece
yes i understand bd4 is a bad move but earlier in the game i felt like something was going wrong
The opening went wrong:
4...d6 was unneccessarily passive (4...Bc5, 4...Bb4).
5...g6 looks better than 5...Be7, see below.
6...exd4 is dubious. In order to exploit the e file you have to play Re8 and Bf8 which is slow and doesn't help the bishop. 6...O-O would have been better, even in spite of 7.d5 Nb8.
With a fianchettoed bishop, you could have played either 6...exd4 (with a well-placed bishop), or allow 7.d5 with the better retreat 7...Ne7.
7...Nxd4 was an error. You forced the white queen to occupy a strong spot in the centre. You realised this error two moves later by playing 9...c5, weakening your d pawn forever. Your position was already worse, you only had a choice between different evils.
can anybody tell what this rating system is about?
