Why did he resign?

So tell me what you think... I have no clue why he resigned.  As far as I can tell I would have only been up a pawn after the exchange.

You sure he didnt resign for another reason e.g. leaving the site?

Although you appear to have missed that you will actually be a BISHOP AND A PAWN up. Though I wouldnt resign because of that.

I don't think so. He probably just resigned because he didn't want to play any more.

Uh, he resigned because he has lost a whole piece.  After Bxc6, Bxc6, white is just a piece up.

That's why he resigned.

Ha ha, good call Tonydal, too early for counting indeed.  Although I wouldn't resign over 4 points of material. (bishop + pawn)

funny anyway your opponant was under some pressure i suppose you have the center and all that or its becuse he lost a piece oh well
