Here's a game I played recently where I blundered away a knight early.  I was rather dejected by my mistake until I saw a combination that would allow me to equalize, and eventually win the game:

On further review, I'm actually mistaken about the threat of mate on move 32 -- the king has a flight square after Nd4, however it does drop the Knight.

I think you mean white resigns.
