Ok this is as near a picture perfect game as I have ever played in my life. This was my second match with this particular opponent and believe him to be a skillfull opponent. All in all he really only made three critical errors. Most of his moves were forced by me.

Ignore the diagram

Mistake#1 At move 3 he moved Qh5 to attempt Fools mate. I was expecting this so I countered with g6. At this point he should have retreated back to Qd1 but he did not.

Mistake #2 At move 7 I gave him the option of trading Queens or taking the pawn. His best move would have been to trade Queens causing me to waste a move by capturing the queen with my knight giving him time to bring a piece into the fray instead he moves Qxc4 which I then counter with Be6 by this time I have attacked his Queen 5 times moving 5 different pieces into the fray while his Queen is the only piece moving and he is also down a bishop. His queen retreats which leads to the final part of the game.

Mistake #3 After Qf1 I advance Nd4 setting up a King Rook fork. He had two options here Kd1 or Qd3 both would prevent the fork. Kd1 was a mistake as it took away his castling oppurtunities for the king. Qd3 would have allowed time to develop Kb and Kn to allow O-O. KD1 sealed his fate.

If you were black what would you have done differently? Did any of you notice my attacks that were coming at the end of the game before my opponent resigned?

This should serve as a good reason to never use the queen in the opening moves.

You should use the queen if it lets you win

That's "Scholar's Mate," actually (the pattern of mating with a Queen covered by a Bishop).

Nevertheless, good job of exploiting your opponent's mistakes; keep at it!

How is this a perfect game? Your opponent played like a 5 year old (not prodigy)!

Perfect in the sense of taking advantage of mistakes from start to finish. Actually age has nothing to do with it. He was probably sore from losing the first match, which he played a lot better. Beside's I thought this was the perfect example to discourage early Queen play.

At move 19, Rd2 would have been checkmate.  Always look for mate instead of material.

I wasnt going for the queen, or anything else. I had a forced mate figured another way. Didnt matter he resigned anyway.

True, but it's best to be decisive.  You never know what you might have missed.

Otherwise, great game.
