I am starting forum threads to post my games from over-the-board tournaments I play. This particular thread does not have pictures, but my goal is to post pictures going forward.
This was the first tournament where I actually traveled 3 hours and stayed at a hotel for a tournament. It was a 3 day tournament, and I was so exhausted by the last day, I actually decided not to compete in my final game because I felt I would be too tired and just play poorly.
At this time I was unrated, but I had chosen the open section and tried to switch, but the switch did not go through, so I ended up having to play in the open section against really strong competition. I lost all but one of my games, but the experience of playing strong competition definitely helped my game.
Note: Time control was 40 moves 120 minutes, Game 60 minutes I believe...
