Going into the tournament I was rated 1567 USCF. But with only 25 tournament games played. I expect it to go up soon.  I don't play too often and my friend who is 1800 says I will probably reach 2000 before he does.  Anyway in this tournament I was paired against a strong 1855 player that use to be in the Expert Class.  I was glad to see I had white. I'm strong as black but my attacking style is absurd as white. I lose a lot of games because I attack too much and end up trying to sac material prematurely or I miss the best defense for Black.  In this game however the move I played on move 18 were not seen by the computer for a good while and on one it gave the evaluation as black being equal but after about 10 seconds it changed its evaluation to (-2 to -3).  Anyways, here is the game.

I forgot to put the variations in.  On Bxa1, I had Nxf6 gxf6 Qh5 gxh5 Qxh5+ Kh8 Qf6+ Kg8 Bh6 with mate to follow.

Time control was 45 minute sudden death 5 second delay

At least I thought it was very tactical.  Good to see how the initiative can be applied.
