That's not what I call a 'quiet move' nor 'quiet play' (aggressive move directed against the king, without caring about the queenside being devasted...)

Are you referring to 30. Qf6 not being a quiet move? If you are, then I don't understand why you wouldn't consider it a quiet move. Perhaps we have different definitions of what a quiet move is. The quiet move I'm referring to is a tactical motif that is neither a capture, check, nor direct attack. 30. Qf6 was none of these things. Instead, it controlled that one square before launching a mate that was unpreventable in the next move.

Well, any move that threatens mate shouts pretty loudly, if the opponent is listening

I don't know if 30. Qf6 was quiet or noisy, but it was certainly deadly, threatening mate on g7 or f8 with Black unable to defend both.

Nice-game because awareness of black king-side weakness (f7-pawn gone & no knight nearby). Good that you continued to attack ignoring Q-side devastation !

On second thought, I stand corrected. Maybe my move wasn't so quiet because the mate was so easy to foresee. Anyway, thanks for commenting.
