This is the final game of the Bird Brain 2 tournament (I came in 2nd Smile)... it's 1.f4 of course -- Bird's opening -- which I've come to dislike rather a lot (no offense BirdBrain! It can't be for _everyone_ can' it?)

The game is a ratings mismatch, but I think the quality of play from both sides shows that A) Awardchess plays stronger than his rating and/or  B) I'm overrated! ... so it's a closer match than it looks on paper!

But this game is really pretty neat. I think it's a good game for class players to look at, since the moves aren't master level deep, but it's a decent game with some interesting strategic/positional play, some interesting choices, and some decent technique.  Although I have looked over some of the critical positions with a chess engine, I still think there's room for strong players to find improvements, which I'd love to hear.

The game is fully annotated. I hope you enjoy it.

Thanks Rainbow! I like to hear that someone read the annotations... although I enjoy writing them and mostly write them to help me clarify my own thoughts about a game.
