Good game and yes bishops can be good in closed games if you want to see another example go to something called the best game in blogs

No one was saying bishops were bad. In fact, most strong players think that they are generally equal in closed positions, but this can obviously change because if a knight has an advanced square like d6 then it's just absolutely crushing.

i like the look on my opponents eyes when they have never played a bishop vs. knight/bishop endgame, and set their pawns on awkward squares, then they offer a draw, then they resign... of course this can go in two ways... :(

You mention the Nxf5 tactic in your notes. It looks like 46. ... Nxf5 works. If 47. gxf5 how does white stop black's g-pawn? Am I missing something?

The g pawn can be stopped. But white has to give a bishop back.
