the title bites off a game Sam Reshevsky played in the French, because it has a very similar sacrifice
it's good
i liked it, i really like skeptical sacrifices, not in tournaments though....
Was this my game? Looks real familiar.
haha no no, the victim was someone else this time =)
what if on move 21 instead of qxg7 go with bx b8, because then Qd7 is mate
That was good judgements of your sacrifises. Well done!
KIESH2
good catch, that wins faster!
What about 18: 0-0-0
the clear refutation =)
It's just what I would have played...didn't know if it made any difference or if the sac had some lines prepared for that move.
Or the inferior find I made for the same move!
21. Qc7+
then go back rank for a free rook.
But it kind of takes the pizazz out of it to know that I missed a way better move on the same move. That's the same feeling you get upon finding out that your neighbor doesn't really have a cat, so the furry thing you petted under the table must have been a large rat.
