    Chess960 is a chess variant.  960 is a number.  So they are two different things. Smile

    Wow...Lmao the starting position is almost the same except The king and knight reversed, I wonder how close could you get.

    Yeah, that's the closest I've ever gotten.  After the moves Nf3 and O-O the position is basically the same as a regular chess game would look like.

    I can explain. By the way: 960 is the numbers of possible starting position at chess960.

    chess360 aren't the same things, because chess360 is when the both sides put up they picecs how they want (except pawns, still 2nd N 7th rank.) I mean at Randomly sitouaution.
