cool. good one. thx for sharing
The mating net at the end is nice.
I disliked 12.Nxe3?! ... I thought fxe3 was stronger, opening up the f-file, leaving your strongly posted N on d5 with all sorts of discovery possibilites against the f7 focal point. Meanwhile, the doubled pawn on e3 is no weakness at all but takes away his outposts at d4 and f4.
You had the initiative all the way, but I thought he gave you a decent fight, considering the rating differential. His point-of-no-return error, I believe, was 19.Bxf5? opening up the e-file for your rooks while his Kingside rook and Queen were all cooped up... pure doom. If instead he'd played 19...Bg2, I think it becomes a messy complicated exciting game. It isn't at all clear how you're going to keep your wandering N or get compensation for it.
thanks for the input, i dont even need computer analysis now.
cool mating net...nice job
I was making donkey sounds by the end. Which gave me deja vu. But that's neither here nor there. The point is, exciting game. Who among us can claim not to have peed a little during this movelist?
yeah, i was gogin to say what jg27pyth said..he took the words right out of my mouth
