I am proud of this checkmate.. let me know what you think.. well.. it was mate on my next move.. he resigned.. let me know if you have any comments on other moves I made.. for my own growth.. thanks
on my last move I was tempted to go for a rook.. good thing I stopped to analyze
Nice Game
bravo. opening the f file was a brilliant idea. excellent checkmate
I like I like
thanks guys
Good job!
Nice mate! And 24 Nh6+ was also crushing. You have 4 pieces trained on his kingside and he has only one piece defending--not a situation which bodes well for him.
Actually, HaZe905's choice of 24.Bxf7+ looks better to me than 24.Nh6+. I don't think 24.Nh6+ would get you mate as fast.
gg;)... just a side note was after 13...Nxe4, 14.Bxe7 was a far better move and would have won you the knight for a pawn since he would have to recapture with the queen, allowing you to then take the knight with your queen
His opponent could've declined the sac though (with 24... Kh8). As I say, either way...
thanks for all of the input guys... I don't see the mate with Nh6+ his bishop on the dark diagonal was the main problem at the end of the game.. I had to fish the king out from behind those pawns.
14. Bxe7 was the better move by far. Thanks for the suggestion Karson
There is no forced mate with Nh6+ (but there wasn't one with Bxf7+ either, if he had declined the bishop).
The inevitable end
ignore whites bishop on the black square in my last diagram
nicely done!
3...d5 stops the mate in your diagram.
21 kh6+ with
kxf7
yes,i think opening F file was the main theme of this game...good job,i really enjoyed looking for a mate before a watched at the end
good point lol.. oops
