One of the lessons that one is taught as a beginner is to refrain from developing one's queen prematurely, and for good reason. However, neglecting the queen's development is also a no-no; the queen must be able to work with the rest of the pieces in a coherent plan, and not be desperately searching for a home. The latter happened to me in a game, and I find that game to be quite instructive. So without further ado, the game:
