A long game I've just played on the Live Chess. It was not technically good, my opponent played quite bad. In fact, my penultimate move was not really a Queen Sacrifice, I left it en prise indeeed, but taking it was an error that led black to be mated. The lesson one should take here is "There's no free lunch on chess either" Smile

Impressive queen sacrifice, I’m not sure I would have seen that.

Black can play 7... ef, because if 8 Bxg7 fg 9 Bxg2 Qg5.

 15... Nxd5

On turn 13, can't you castle kingside?

Indeed...  As I said, that was a technically bad game :(  But I think the ending was worthy. Thanks for the analysis anyway, I can't believe I haven't seen those points even when writing the comments!

I could, but I was looking to centralize my rook too. Thought that way I'd both defend my king and attack.

Everybody loves queen sacrifices - try telling that to Mary Queen of Scots :)

Nice sacrifice. It sort of reminded me of the Opera game:

Wow, fantastic! The last moves were quite similar, but Morphy sacrificed knight, bishop, rook and queen! Thanks for sharing :)
