In the first game (post #2), 5...Nd4 ! kills the white attack and Black is way better afterwards...

And Scott, I wondered where this was heading after move 34 ('WTH ? how is there any tactical shot looming ?'). I've done a couple of these too.

You mean 5...Nd4, right? Nd5 loses the knight. And yes, after 5...Nd4 black is better.
