Here a game I played last week at my local club. My opponent wasn't familiar with the countergambit I played. At move 3 he made a blunder wich led to a checkmate in 11 moves.
The 'normal variation' usually runs as follows:
1. e4 e5 2. f4 d5 3. exd5 e4 4. d3
That was pathetic play by white, he might has well have fallen for Fool's Mate. 1.f4 e6 2.g4 Qh4#
It just wasn't his day I guess....
What's a good response to the countergambit?
10 Kf3 Qg4 mate
