Hi all,

This is my first post in this forum.  I've not had a lot of good luck improving my game lately.  Having struggled to best anyone over 1300 but this was a match where I thought it came together nicely and maybe, just maybe showed that I might have turned a corner.  On the other hand... If you've read any of my other posts, this game (i.e. chess) has a funny way of smacking us down just when we think we got it.  I would do well to be... cautious.  But the game is a good one I think.  Against a worthy adversary too.  Hope you enjoy it.

Some good stuff there. One thing is that 22. Ne6+ Nxe6 23. dxe6 is not a knight sac as you recaptured the knight. And wat was up with all of the fishing quotes?

Thanks for the info.   I was not aware that that was not a true sac (i say somewhat obtusely)  I've been playing this game for 20+ years and still learning basic stuff I guess. 

Fishing just having fun, I guess.
