My first game on here. I havn't played in a while but im content with this win.

Why not 7.Qg7 - Rf8 or Rg8 8. Qxh6???

and  8. b5???

It is always good to score your first win. The main thing is to get something out of every game, win or loss. As you keep playing and challenge stronger opponent, you will learn more and become a better player.
