A nice game in the French Defense;

My opponent had a pawn on e5 that I was able to get rid of rather quickly.

Nice game!  My only minor complaint would be move 19... By exchanging queens on e2 instad of f1, you gave the white king a tempo in getting to the center, where it wants to be anyhow!  :)

The "!!" move suffix is generally reserved for surprising, game-winning moves, so why did it appear several times in the last variation, ignoring a forced mate in 3 in favour of a useless knight promotion?

Thanks for reading!

@Skwerly - Yep 19...Qe4+ is a little funny. Yell

@Peachter - Thanks mate.

@kingsmate618 - Wow... just.. wow... I hadn't seen any of that coming. Thanks for the analysis. I guess 5...cxd4 was much  better. Laughing

@Vincent_Zepplin - It was just a joke. Of course getting the knight was a waste of time. Tongue out Just poking at my opponent for not resigning that game when it was dead lost. And seeing as he resigned one move before mate, he obviously was hoping for something cheap.
