Does anyone know any "good" books on the Ponziani?  Seems under appreciated as a valid opening.

thats 1 of my fave opening

hard game for black after move 6.

no 1 plays 2...Nc6 anymore tho

not 11. ...bxc6 because of Bxc6+. Thus better and necessary was 11... 0-0

 

it looks like you were already won by the time you played d5. so ... dxe5 was a VERY big mistake.

 

And this is the refutation!

I'm sorry I didn't follow your thought process here.  Could you diagram what you are trying to say.  Are you saying that there is a refutation to dxc6.....?  Or just that better moves could have been played before and after dxc6?  Because I agree and gave a question mark to Nxh1
