I actually learned something....

So I've been reading a (quite old, I think.  It's in the old chess notation anyway.) book called the Art of the Checkmate by Renaud & Kahn.  I was beginning to wonder if I'd managed to learn anything from it, when finally I see a chance to play Legal's mate, from the very first chapter!

It's probably old news to a lot of you, but I am just pleased my memory is still working!

Old news, yes, but if you can pull it off, then you have the right to brag. I studied up on classic traps a year or two ago in the hopes of catching somebody, but it seems that the people I play against already know about them... Frown
