What do you think of poitín for the Latvian Gambit? Both require courage and a strong stomach :P

EDIT: Sangria for the Spanish, prosecco for the Italian?

Hah! I can't believe I didn't think of grog. My brain is too tired... and jontsef, be careful! Play the Frankenstein-Dracula too often and you'll run the risk of catching some blood-borne disease :P

...hey, we all have good days and bad days...he was probably thinking about something other than the game...What could he been thinking about, Batgirl?   What?

I am quite sure that under the right circumstances I could fall for a "fools mate deferred" as well. I recently was victim of a classic bishop sac on h7 - and this was in a cc game where I had three days to spot it! Once my opponent had moved, I of course saw the whole pattern through to the bitter end and resigned. Sometimes we just seem to suffer from a blind spot or mental block.

    My dear Ms. Batgirl,

What is it exactly that you would like to get?
