hehe see what you think, i made some fun sacrifices in this game that i am pretty sure were sound
Gotta suck big time to be that guy.
The last two or three moves were valid. I can't say the same about the beginning.
A very beautiful combination! Since you're threatening mate with 23... Nf2+ (24 Rxf2 Re1; 24 Kc1 Rc2+ 25 Kb1 Rxb2+ 26 Kc1 d2+ 27 Bxd2 Nd3+ 28 Kd1 Rxd2), White definitely has his work cut out for him. Even after his best try (23 Be3) Black probably still is winning with 23... Bxb2. Very nice!
colle-pirc
Very nice! :) 16...Ne4+ might have been interesting with the thought of playing d3+ threatening a Nxf7+ fork or if he moves the king on e-file then you would have Nxg3+. :)
It was interesting how he thought he was winning after 23 bxc3. I liked how you went after the king with sacs. Very good game! :)
I don't know man...I like the way you ended the game, but
12. d4 (?)
13. Nd5 (?) ...13.c6 (?)
16. Kd2 (?)
It was like everytime he would gain a large advantage he would give it back. Nice mate though. Not a good sacrifice of the rook or the two pawns!!
nice, colle pirc. i hope that never happens to me.
I'm pretty sure this won't happen in our game.
Congrats on beating a 1200...
Hmmm... Very nice end. I would suppose that white did a little too much pawn grabbing, another important point of how to convert material advantage. If I look at it hard enough, white probably had a few chances to give the material back for an easier win
Lack of vision? HAHA! lol
it is always nice to find a win in a bad way. well done
Im sorry not to be polite...but we must separate sacrifices and blunders...
This is not exchange sacrifice. The technical word is exchange blunder
Mate was nice, but don't play like that again, alright?
