Instead of 21... b6??, something like Nf6 would have maintained a tenable position for me. But I got impatient in that moment and blundered a rook. It was placing my own goals, to unravel my position and activate the c8 bishop, ahead of what the position would allow for. May this game serve as a lesson to not play with a one-track mind, although this is easier said than done in the moment. In case anyone was wondering, the time control was 20/10.

This is the downfall of most class players. In one OTB tournament I had exactly 0 wins because of this issue. It plagues my like some sick addiction.

Oddly enough I tend to be a methodical, cautious, and analytical person in my regular life. So, I feel your pain.

Ridding myself of this habit is my only concern in my current training.
