This (my 100th game on the site) was a pretty darned exciting win. I'm posting the whole game, since some have said in the past that they like to see the whole thing; if you want to cut right away to the chase (or the hunt) though, fast forward to around White's 20th move or so:
i have to admit it that was exciting
Gud one tony, thanks for posting :)
PS-can black try Ne4 to generate a smothered mate pattern instead of taking the knight ??
This game is 217894 leagues above me
on which move
so many sacrifices! I have no idea what's going on! I'll have to take a better look at it later when I have time..... gg
there is no clear win for white the position is equal after exchange and i think blacks queen and knights look menacing .... am i missing something
Don't know what position you're talking about.
kudos tony. dont insult my games. REALLY? the samisch!??? play the mar del plata main line!!!!
Maybe I would if I knew what it was.
Confused with what each side was playing for. I'm curious as to what would happen after...
I believe Black will have the option of Ne6, stopping the attack.
I missed a check. Lemme look at that again.
There is a pawn on d5 so ...Ne6 dxe6
Let me try again.
I would rather not wade through all that blue business again. But I don't see what's wrong with 27... Nxe1 followed by the Ne6 idea.
Sorry, it does look like a mess. You're right, I missed that the queen indirectly protects g7 after fxe6. There are alot of tactics in that one game. What were the time controls?
It was 10 days/move (in a tournament).
Nice game, Tony. I think black should have hung on to his kingside bishop. I've been playing the KID, and I find the Samisch to be a tough nut to crack.
