Hello, I just wanted to show a couple of my recent games and compare them to a couple of my games from 2006. My rating now is almost 2000 while my rating back then was only 1050. BIG difference. I can't believe how poorly I played then! My games from 2006 look like a bunch of random moves. The older games are from when I used to play on redhotpawn.com. Enjoy and tell me what you think!

I don't quite know what you mean. The way you worded it is a little confusung...

Now, when I look at my games from when I first started it baffles me as too what I was actually looking/thinking about when I played them.  Just a bunch of random moves put together.

You have made a HUGE improvement.

The main difference is you are now using all your pieces in unison and not using the Queen to do all of the work. Nice job.

I think 8.Ng6 in the last game is more interesting =P

ur tactical skills didnt seem too bad back then. just no teamwork between pieces and too focused on attack and no defense. Good improvement i bet chess is even more fun now right?

the better ive become the more fun i seem to have playing.

I thought about that, but then the rook would simply move and I would have to move my knight again shortly so I decided against it. I like the knight where it is on move 7 and would rather not trade it for his undeveloped Bishop- even if it meant no Kingside castling priviledges.
