I'm pleased with this game partly since it's my second best win on here, ratings-wise, and partly because I managed to maintain the pressure with some fairly subtle moves.

Usually the Keres Attack leads to extremely sharp positions that are very difficult to defend as black, and although this game was far from quiet, it was more balanced than usual.

Anyway, here it is. If anyone has any improvements for either side (I'm sure there are plenty), I'd like to know.

Thank you for posting this game! It was very instructive to me.

The posting of the bishop on g2 ended up working out OK for you, especially when your opponent was faced with the realisation that the option to castle short was long gone for him.

When an early e6 is played, I really feel like the king's bishop does not belong on the a2-g8 diagonal and in fact Bc4 scores very poorly in these positions. I am not knowledgeable about the Keres attack & positions similar or arising out of it, but I feel like in the game, Bg2 was the optimal square for your bishop.

Congrats on the win

Glad you enjoyed the game essnov. The thing with Bg2, is that I can see it being less active if black can find a way of blocking the centre.

I think maybe Be7 instead of 13...Ne5 would have been much safer, allowing a securer castle, and not giving me a tempo with 14. f4.
