i decided to add the King's Gambit to my opening repertoire today, and so far it has provided only great, adventurous, tactical, and exciting games. I'll show you an examply of one of those here. In this one my opponent uses checks to force my king very near the center. What arises is a truly mad game, with my king playing a lead role all through. I did make some mistakes though, and in the end my opponent lost on time, in a losing position.
That was easily the weirdest game I've ever played, and the highest rated opponent I've ever beaten. I'll be using the King's Gambit more, I think :)
4. Be2 is something I'd never, ever play.
