Knight sac, knight fork

In a 10 0 tourney game today I was able to sac a knight, and then later the second knight could do a pretty knight fork.

Nice! But how come you always play low-rated players?

Nice. Do you have a game with a rook sac?

1844 is actually pretty okay for "classical" on that server.

However, the higher rated players are often also better prepared, and play better.

For example. Here's a fairly nice draw from some time ago, against a player I only have losses and draws against. No wins yet. I think I blogged about this game already some months ago :

And here a sac win against 2100+ :

But I like chess blogging about a certain topic.

So, I win with a nice sac or attack or positional grinding, or draw a peculiar ending, or lose a game by a fun idea of my opponent, and then I like to share that. Rating is usually not an ingredient of that.

Makes sense ? Smile

I've searched a bit for it, but can't find a nice rook sac game.

Maybe you will like this rook double-check checkmate :

I wish that I was 1800+

That is indeed a nice way to checkmate an opponent. I'd say that's a double fist pump mate. Keep em coming. I played a game that I should have lost but came back. I had to give up all pieces but my queen to win. I dubbed that my "queen sweep" a play on the phrase clean sweep, lol
