Knights Vs. Bishops

This is a game I recently played that at the end takes on a real, 'knights V Bishops' persona.  (I was left with two knights and he with the bishop pair).  Although I am well aware of the advantage that two bishops possess over two knights I am always quite pleased when I see the knights triumph and remind us of their worth.  So as you can imagine I really wanted to put my, 'knight pair' to some use and show those bishops a thing or two.  Suffice to say, my opponent was much stronger than me and thanks to some good moves from his side and some poor ones from mine his bishop pair quickly mounted a crusade to victory (see if you can spot my little puns there)

Well, how 25. Ne5. Had you played that you would have lost your knight but gained his rook. But in any case, this is a good example of why bishops are considered slightly better than knights. As you said, nice 'Bishop v. Knight' game.

Ah yes well spotted.  Wish I had played that, this game would have been my highest rated win. Thanks for the comment

In any case, i think that with 2 bishop it will be powerful pieces, if one only maybe near to useless i think. It really hard to fork using bishop compare to knight.
