Here's a game I played yesterday against Chesspartner on Hard.
very nice game
nice game
Very enjoyable. Is there an argument for black to play 8. ...h5 or at least as soon as possible?
Dumb question - how do you record the moves from chesspartner? Or did you do so manually?
It may have been better if the question was rephrased however the question is valid. I, as black, would have tried to find an opportunity to stop the King side attack. ...h6 or ...h5 may have produced a different game. Although weakening the King side. Without looking again at the game there was a possible Bishop exchange around move 8 so I was considering whether black (the computer) would have been better served to play ....h5 as soon as possible after white's 8.h4.
The chess moves were manually written down because Chesspartner doesn't score the game (ugh).
In the Caro-kann you do want to attend to the h-pawn by White. If white gets too far, he can break things up to great effect.
here's another sample of letting the h-pawn run.

good times, good times
Little-ChessPartner its not so stupid, i played a game whith it and this is the result
Chessroshi - I just played over your letting h pawn run. Thanks for the tip. h5 would have given black a better game!
