This was a fun game I recently played against the English in which I managed to quickly establish a devastating outpost that immediately undermined my opponent's position.  Any comments or constructive criticism are welcome:

The game is won at move number 7. The d3 square falls into your hand and there's no turning bac. Good Job ! white can resign after move number 10.

From white's perspective, bad things seem to happen whenever black is allowed to play dxc4.

very nice combination, but what if 11f3 move was 11h3?

I agree with Alekhine II. 4e3 was a positional blunder. The pawn should be left on e2, both in the English, and with the colors reversed, the dragon.  Highly instructive game as to what happens if one does not do so. Thank you.

Great game there.

4.b3 and 4.cxd5 look like better options. The point of 1.c4 2.g3 is to hold off on moving the e and d pawns.

6.Bxc6 looks like a tricky move to deal with planning on 7.Qa4.

6...Nb4 looks ok. I don't think White had any answer for that anyway.

7.Nge2 is not good right now. 7.a3 was the only move. White is trying to play the English like a system but is completely ignoring Black's space advantage.

White is going for a Botvinnik system but e2-e3 throws that out the window anyway.

8...Nd3+ and now White wishes he hadn't played e2-e3. This must be a horror to see only eight moves in.

11.h3 loses to the exact same line with the excepition that White now has an f2-f4 push on move 13 but even that is futile.

14.gxf4 is forced as 14.exf4 loses all the same after 14...Qd4 15.Qe2/Qf3 Bxg4!!

Great game there. The knight on d3 simply crushed White's passive position.

No doubt he wasn't expecting tactics like that. Smile
