I like the Orangutan or Polish Opening, 1.b4, because of its surprise affect and the attacking ability of the fianchettoed bishop.  Here is a game where the bishop to b2 helped me win the game.  My opponent helped by allowing me to attack the kingside with my knight and queen.  His slow development and misplaced queen allowed me to pull off a nice combination.

I've been playing the orangutan for around a year now and I'm surprised at the way you chose to develop leaving the c pawn alone and leapfrogging your pieces in front of it.  Is it just because you wanted to make use of your developmental advantage? ( i.e. you generally push c4 but didn't here)

Just curious, as any little insight from a more experienced orangutan user would be welcome.

Instead of playing c4 at some point, more trappy is Bc4 and I use my bishops to control the long diagonal or aimed at the enemy king side.  Since he did not control the center with d5, it looked like the best move here.  The pawn to c4 is usually played if he controls the center with d5 or if I am trying to break up his center

I see.

It sounds like you like to steer things into more open games with tactical possibilities.
