Was this a blindfold game?

No, not a blindfold game. We played this right here at chess dot com, allowing up to 7 days/move. The game finished on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.

25 ... e4? lost him the game. Your opponent had an easy win if he could have got his bishop onto the a8-h1 diagonal by Bd3 and then Be4.

Yes, that pawn advance was a blunder. And yes too about the bishop - I suspected it would be more powerful than my knight. I was glad to get it off the board.

it's 26. e4 that was the blunder and yes Bd3 is definitely stronger which shifted the offence to the white pieces.

sloughterchess - thanks!

dzuljazz - right. I could see that his Rooks and Queen were not working with each other as well as mine were able to. With his Bishop off the board I was confident I could take on any of my opponent's challenges.
