This is the first few moves of my first attempt at playing without viewing the board. As you can see, I get myself into trouble. I gave up and started looking at the board after this, but still couldn't salvage the game. I plan on trying again though.
try playing chess on a board on which you can see only your peices/only the opponents peices while he played on another hidden board on the computer or something, and then move on...
wow, that's actualy a good advice! never played blindfold in my life...
Try every single day, and you will be able to do it within a few weeks.
When I picked up the ability it was mostly because I wanted it. I hadn't played in a tournament yet so no real strength is required.
