My First Games(s) on Chess.com

    Incredibly, my first game that I played ended up finishing second since my opponent chose to test my endgame skills. Although nowhere near Rubinstein or Capablanca, I was kinda hoping he would rather resign in an obviously lost position so I can get back to watching 'Simpsons'. alas..it wasn't meant to be and only when I literally defused all his threats was he sufficiently satisfied with his efforts and the result.

    So I am giving forth two games instead. One which I started first but finished second while the other one was the first game to finish on chess.com. Hope you enjoy ! :)

     


    The next game was actually the first one to finish but was started as the 2nd. There was a chance of brilliant exchange trade by my opponent which he didn't play and unfortunately he blundered late in the game to hand me the game. but it was fun nevertheless.


    It was nice to play calum who asked me to analyze the game instead for him, so we both can learn something out of it. so I hope he can contribute some of his stuff. Sometimes people end up thinking about better moves after the game when they look at certain positions with a fresh perspective.
