Since starting last month, I have played several games here on chess.com. It has been a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Most of my games, unfortunately, were decided by an obvious blunder on either my part or on my opponent's.

This game, which began on my first day on the site, was the first game without an obvious blunder. My opponent played an unusual, but probably sound, response to my Sicilian defense.

I spent a few sleepless hours mulling over some of these moves. I feel it worthy enough to post. I hope you enjoy it.

...18Nd4 was very effective.  In my opinion it was the move that gave you some actual lines of counter-play.  Nice game to watch.  Well done.

Ahhh yes. Now I remember that game. I knew less about chess and it was more fun. Thanks for the feedback.

A nice game to start with.
