He could have held on to his extra piece with 9... Nb8 and 10... Nd7.

13... Ng6 was a big mistake (better to run from the Queen check with 13... Kd8 and the game is even) and you capitalized on it very well.

The sacrifice is wrong

8).. Bg7 was not nessesary,  Bg5 or exd better (exd Qf6 Rf8 )

9).. Qd7 was wrong, but after 10).. Qc6 black is still clearly better.

12)  g5 is wrong to, Bd7 the 000 woud have keept the better position for black

 but black is still about even.

13)..  Ng6 is a catastrophy Kd8 was right

 ( Analysed with Zappa  : Elo about 2800)
