My OTB win against candidate master: McCutcheon Variation (French)

    This is my OTB win in District league against candidate master M. Perovic. My team is chess club "Sremac" Vojka - Republic of Serbia. I was third table from 8. I think we lose match, but dont remember.

    Heh true. I guess the Benoni has a tendency of scaring people into making mistakes since it's unavoidably dangerous.

    It can be (especially the Czech Benoni), but from black's point of view most variations have the capacity to explode open at any point, and it has a lot of scope for sacrifices. It was playing through some of Tal's games in the opening that inspired me to take it up in the first place. 

    I tried playing the Dutch for a while, but it has a few too many holes without enough compensation for my tastes. I also think it's easier to play against as white than the Benoni.
