Hey guys, I have been working hard on learning more about 1. e4.  It is my first love, and I still play my 1. f4.  However, there is one thing often missing from 1. f4 setups, and it is the early e4!  So, here we go - I hope you enjoy.

Very nice! This is actually my first time watching/reviewing someone else's game like this. Your commentary made it quite interesting. A few questions for you though, as I'm quite inexperienced.

    1. On move 28, what is this 'idea' with regard to the mating net? Are you referring to your control of c6 and e6?

    2. On move  21 you say this may not be everyone's taste... could you perhaps elaborate on this point? It seems to be a sound move to me, as it forces him to expose more of his  flank, thus reducing his defensive capacity. What sort of argument could be made against this tactic?

Bravo, Thank you very much!! :)

Move 28 - yes.  I am controlling key squares for his king to escape by playing d5.

Move 21 - I think this move is fine.  For some, they may want to keep tension, but I think it is fine.  I simply gave it a !? because there may be something better there.
