the gambit is a pawn exchange and yes it can be taken(though it is tough to play), bringing your queen out to attack early is a mistake that will result in many lost games...p.s. kxq will win!
@ClavierCavalier For me it's apparent that Nfgx4 is better because as the rule of thumb, you want to have your horse free. When you go Nexg4 the second horse only has 4 out of 8 moves + he's blocking the queen.
