Wow, you did fool around in the start, but he cramped him self instead of developing.

18...Ba3 was pointless, maybe 18...Bd6 would be better.

20.R1b6 I do not see what you wanted to do here. after 21.cxb6 22.Rxd7 Rxd7 you have Queen vs 2 rooks 2 Bishops and a Night. Am I missing something here?

21...Ba4? some people just value their Queen to much.

So on move 13 you're supposed to have a winning attack for the pieces? An easy plan for black to consolidate from move 14 could be ...Bg7, then ...Rf8, with the idea ...Bf7 and ...e5, opening the pieces.

And the cxb6 variation that was mentioned seems to get rid of any hope of an attack.

Yeah, black was way too overprotective of the queen.  I can't see how you could have pulled out the game had black answered your twenty first move with 21... PxR.  The knight counters any mating attempts on B8 and I can't see how your queen could outperform five pieces after RxQ.

After move 9, black had a won game. His lead grew larger and larger until 24... Bc4??? completely ignoring white's mate in two. He had plenty of ways out, the best being 24... Bxh2! 25. Kxh2 Qd6+

I was just having fun. Plus I wanted to see if my opponent would actually get over confident.

The mate position is interesting, but Be2 is a blunder because he has lost two pieces. 9 Nxc6 is a better move

Then...  this game could be considered the immortal "Overrated Queen" game.

I'm sure black never considered to change its sacred queen for two rooks and having 5 pieces against a queen... better facing a very likely mate... not even after 24 a4 !!!
