This is called the Damiano defence. It has already been analysed centuries ago. Your solution (with 6...d5 7.Bxd5 inserted) was well known back then.

Black should play 3...Qe7 with slight chances to get a share of the game. White could simply play 3.Bc4 with an obvious advantage.
